Stand Up for Real Food
What is Food Revolution Day?
With 43 million kids under 5 years old overweight or obese, award-winning chef and real food activist, Jamie Oliver, has set out to change things! He has created a movement to bring millions together and inspire a nation to fight obesity with better food. What's his plan?
SIMPLE: Get the world involved and change it!
Food Revolution is launching May 19th as “a global day of action for people to think about where their food comes from and get back into their kitchens”.
People all around the world are connecting in their communities through events at schools, restaurants, local businesses, dinner parties and farmers’ markets. Supporters include Justin Bieber, Kate Gosselin, Gweyneth Paltrow, Ellen Degeneres, Paul McCartney, Jennifer Aniston, Jason Derulo, David Archuleta and more!
And, there are all kinds of ways to get involved. Find an event near you, create a local food event or host a dinner party, pledge your school or your company, share community recipes, or join the conversation online and start making small changes. Click to find out more.
